#WayBackWednesday: CARLA
And kato after sa amoa Encounter, gina sungog namo sya to wear a dress and ribbons/headbands, she seriously said, "Magsuot ko pero dili sa karon."
Yes, dili perpekto ang pagiging Christian as what some believe, but just staying with God, and not allowing to be separated from Him, being faithful lang jud sa pag simba, pagpakipag relasyon sa Ginoo, pag attend sa lifegroup, pag devotional, spending time in His prensence through prayers and personal worship, change will eventually come.

#WayBackWednesday: FAITH
AITH VERONICA. Still under the tutelage of my former cell/lifegroup leader, Erika Garcia Pilones, Faith grew. She was my former ka-TRANSFORMERS.
I remember bugay pa kaayo ni siya mostorya, and she still didn't know how to respond to people older than her. She treats them like they're just her own age. But now, Faith already knows how to respect, and honor people around her. She listens to advice now. She also told me stories of her life before, which was pretty dangerous and even I couldn't believe it. It was like in the movies.
But today, with still so much to learn and change, I am happy to see nga nag mature na siya. She is now a PA to our Senior Pastor's wife. I am blessed by her life. :) JESUS IS CHANGE.

#WayBackWednesday: SHELDON
As you can see, sa first picture mao na iyang past. Every time I tell his story, they'd never believe it. They would always tell me, "Ang bayot gani, bayot na jud na." But whenever I look at him, I knew that there's a big change. He used to be very pilosopo, and I remember nakakita pakog picture nga nag apil sya sa MS GAY pageant sa Sycore. But now, he is one of the primary leaders in the church. And he has a heart of a servant, willing to serve. There are times that I would just observe him, and it makes me smile because he already has mannerisms of a man.
He is still a piece of art in progress in the hands of God, but his life still amazes me. JESUS IS CHANGE.

#WayBackWednesday: SAM
SAM. He used to be called Samantha. I had the privilege to get to know this wonderful, and thoughtful person.
I remember that he was the talk in our church after their God Encounter Retreat. He is the best friend of Faith, once a lesbian, too, but now a pretty girl in Christ. I saw him in one of the Youth Movers' Night, but never really paid attention. After his Encounter, he had cut his hair. Guin Santino was patient, and persevered in going after him so he and Faith can join a cell/lifegroup. One day, her efforts paid off.
I got to know him better when he lived with me para naa koy kauban sa balay, and wanted to help him so he would stay in the church. But what I didn't know was that grabe na diay ka lalom iyaha pag tuo sa Ginoo. He was very willing to change, and he dedicated his life to God. His former life was really messy and perilous, just like in the movies.
Today, he brings his friends to church and even his own family. Grabe ang iyang trials when he started serving Christ, losing two of his brothers to murderers. His sister now is serving God, too. He is now one of the primary leaders in the church, serving God with all his heart. JESUS IS CHANGE.
