My Destiny is Good

Just comforting myself a bit with this quote. Super duper mentally drained from all these tasks. Aja! Fighting! Thank you, Lord, for the supernatural strength, speed, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding!

This girl beside me is Mary, my co-worker and became one of my disciples in church. We have been friends since 2013. I got to know her during our training days at Sutherland, and then invited her to church. So happy to be still with her all through these years to love God, and serve Him!

Nikki, Toni, Iya

Just think of Nikki Gil, Toni Gonzaga, and Iya Villania. They are great examples on why you should wait. Love is a decision and should be a decision on both parties. Love is not based on your feelings because feelings do go away. As time goes by, those kilig moments won't be there as much as you want, but marriage founded on God, friendship, and respect will be there to make the relationship strong, and grow.

The perfect example of love is in 1 Corinthians 13. Read it, ponder on it, and keep it in your heart. There's no secret formula when it comes to love, but the Bible has been very clear about it. It's all out in the open, all you have to do is follow what it says.

1 Corinthians 13 (NLT)

13 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages[b] and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless.
11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.[c] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

GOOD MORNING!

Maricar

Photo Not Mine. CTTO
Think of Maricar Reyes-Poon. Yes, she wasn't virgin when she got married, but she made the right decision when she decided to be in a relationship with Richard Poon. She has learned from her past mistakes, and she made herself honorable by staying pure until her wedding day.

Despite her past mistake(s), she showed every woman in the Philippines that she can be a better person. Her past mistakes don't shape her future, and most importantly, her past does not define her whole being. Thus, she became one of the women I highly respect and admire.

Just because you're not a virgin anymore, there's no hope for you. You have, and stay pure until marriage. But if you are still a virgin now, by all means, keep it that way. :)

My Defender and Strength

I was planning to do this on her next birthday, but I don't think it can wait. I just saw a post from our young people's page about her testimony of my aunt, Merlyn, and I felt that I should let her know.

She has brought so many young people to Christ, and whose lives now have definitely change. Some of them are my fellow leaders at church, and who have good things to say about my aunt. I am one of those people that my aunt really pursued to return to God and turn my life around. Her love for God has extended to her love to us, to see us all in Christ Jesus.
I remember one time that I was being mocked because of my past, and she defended me by saying that I needed help. She said that I was trying my best to have a good future, fighting every trial that came my way. She defended me at a time that I was very vulnerable from attacks of other people who are ready to pull me down and make my life suck. Instead of pulling me down, and pushing me out of her life because of what happened in the past, she showed me love, care, and stood up for me. I have never experienced that from anyone.

She said, "Tabangan nato si Judee." Those were her very words.

Tita, I am very proud, and happy that you are my aunt. A one understanding woman with wisdom just like my grandfather. Tita, I am pretty sure that the Lord our God is happy with what you have done here on earth.

Thank you, and I love you po!

Boss

My boss called me this morning and had this voice ready to give me probably loads of stuff to do for the day. But when he heard how I sounded on the phone, he stopped and asked me to take a rest instead.
(Ring, ring)
Boss: Judee
Me: Hello (in a very small, hoarse voice)
He paused, and said, "Oh, are you sick?"
Me: Yes, but it's okay.
Boss: You should take a day off.
Me: It's okay.
After that, he gave me very few instructions and just told me to message him if I need to clarify anything.
By 2:58PM, I couldn't take a splitting headache anymore, and I felt like vomiting so I messaged both of my bosses already.
Thank you, Lord, for bosses like them!

Shoutout to my Boss Lionel!

Lesson Learned

Shout out to everybody who's trying to get their life together. Working on yourself is the hardest part of life. The rest comes after. If people can't let go of what you did or say in the past, leave them be. Get a resolve, because the Lord can see your heart.

Turning Point of Maturity

I surprised myself this month.
I'm happy even though my bank account's not what it used to be.
I learned to worship God in the midst of nothingness.
I don't have the luxury of going out, and eating at expensive restaurants, but I feel contented.
I learned to just talk to God, and cry to Him when I feel down, and I felt like people are being mean to me.
I don't have to suppress my anger, disappointments, or frustrations anymore, but I just take it up to God, and then I'm okay.
I talk about how I feel about certain issues in my life, but I learned to stop and remember to take it up to God.
I don't know exactly where I'm heading, but the best feeling is knowing that God knows where I'm supposed to go.
The best part is, learning that I am starting from scratch, but this time with God. I am like a work of art still being molded by God.

A humble realization ,and I thank you, Lord, my God for all these.

Christ is my Present and Future

Thanks po, Tatay BlairChe.

"Only the devil will keep on reminding you your past because in Christ you don't have a past but you have a bright future..."

Radical Faith

When you have radical faith, you won't question how little time or how little money you have. You just believe, and go do it! We have a project for this month, and so far, we've experienced setbacks, but I am still excited when I think about it. I don't know unsaon ni Lord ni kay kabalo ko grabe ni kadako na project, and the people involved are unlikely to even get to the amount we have pictured. But I believe that God will use unlikely people to do the most unlikely as long as we have radical faith. Whatever the outcome maybe, we just need to keep moving forward.

"Every Christian should be both conservative and radical;
Conservative in preserving the faith
And radical in applying it." -John R.W. Stott

Our Pastors Need Us, Too!

One thing I can assure you, no matter how wonderful your Pastor is, your Pastor needs your Prayers! I know they may be so anointed that you can’t see it, but trust the experience of someone who has worked behind the scenes with several Pastors, They Get Tired, Frustrated, Lonely, Depressed, Discouraged, Overwhelmed, and Yes Believe It Or Not They Have Their Own Health, Family and Finance Issues Too! They experience broken hearts, bitter church folks, and dreams that seem as though they will never be birthed into the Land of the Living!

I believe we look at Pastors and only see their robe and forget that they are still very much Human!

Your Pastor cries, Your Pastor gets angry, Your Pastor wants to walk away! Yes, Even Your Pastor Is Human!

The Great Commission

Sometimes I think of quitting, and just be on my own. Life would be so much easier for me.
But I will always remember waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning 3 years ago, and asked God what he wants me to do. I opened my Bible and in one flip, He led me to this scripture.

And then the burden given by God is a gift I cannot turn my back on. Christ is enough for me. No turning back.

Rare Gem: JADE, HBD!

Yung friend na kasabay mo sa serbisyo para kay Lord, at sa pagbabasa ng Bibliya. Rare na friend yan!
To my sister-in-Christ, beloved friend, respected confidant, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

We have been together for 3 years now, and the friendship no matter how many other friends are added, I find that you are still my very best friend, who understands each other, and who shares the same sentiments and feelings about so many things. In little things, and small things, I have always been grateful for a friend like you in my life.

Ingon nila, it would take a great man to change a woman's status in life. I would definitely agree because you are a very special person. It would definitely take a very great man to be able to get into your life, and change your status. Ang love nimo sa imoha disciples, and effort na imohang ginahatag sa tanan imoha ginabuhat, and pag walang bahala nimo sa mga tao nga gina bully or gina binuangan ka, speaks of a woman who is worthy to be praised and loved.

I pray for the best for you, Jade, and you can be sure that I will be here to look out for you. We have been through a lot, walay kwarta, naay kwarta, planning for lifegroup expansion, encouraging each other (more like you encouraging me hehee), downfalls, worries.. I'm pretty sure there's still a lot more in store for us in the future, but our friendship, I pray will grow deeper and stronger as we continue to serve God.

Today, another year has been added in your life, and I pray that starting today, God will pour more into your life. For each trouble, He will give you back double.

Instead of shame and dishonor,
you will enjoy a double share of honor.
You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours. -Isaiah 61:7

Come back to the place of safety,
all you prisoners who still have hope!
I promise this very day
that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles. -Zechariah 9:12

In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.
-2 Thessalonians 1:6
